Q: I have made a request for an Exchange Holiday – what do I do now?
A: We rely on subscribing RCI Weeks Members to deposit weeks to fill exchange requests. Since we will not be able to fill all exchange requests for some areas and times, if no match occurs within one or two months it is a good rule to broaden your exchange request by adding more areas and dates. There is no penalty for declining a unit we might offer you later if it will not work for you.
Q: What should I do if my requested holiday is not immediately available?
A: There are times of year when demand exceeds the supply of Units we receive. Since availability changes continually, an ongoing search can be very effective. We then search daily for a match to your request. Although space may be limited when you make your initial search, this is not a true reflection of RCI's inventory because we receive deposits on a daily basis. If an exchange is not at first available, it may become available at a later date.

Q: What are Extra Holidays?
A: Extra Holidays are available without having to deposit a week. Extra Holidays are available at great prices and come from various sources, such as the surplus weeks created when an RCI Member decides to take a cruise instead of holidaying at their home resort. Or when we have special access to an abundance of seasonal accommodation in certain areas. Extra Holidays could also be available after we’ve gone out to find special deals for Members that you wouldn’t find elsewhere.
Extra Holidays usually last one week. There’s a great range of Extra Holidays available to search through on RCI.com.
